Ayurveda promotes animal health through dosha-appropriate living. Every animal is unique and has individual needs based on its constitution. The training teaches the basics of Ayurveda for animals, including appropriate husbandry. Other focal points are constitution determination and individual advice for animals.
Dietetics and phytotherapy are key aspects of veterinary medicine. In this e-seminar, you will learn how to use feed as food for the body and mind and as medicine. You will also learn how to use Ayurvedic food supplements and herbs in animals, both preventively and therapeutically.
Ayurveda principles are not only applicable to humans, but also to plants and animals. Although Ayurveda does not replace modern veterinary medicine, it can promote animal welfare and the relationship with humans. Practice shows that animals respond successfully to Ayurveda therapy and react openly to profound change.
Ayurvedic manual therapy for animals goes beyond massage and includes oils, energy pathways and herbalism. Special therapies with herbal pouches, compresses and pastes are individually adapted. The eLearning course uses clear videos to demonstrate these holistic techniques for treating dogs, cats and horses from an Ayurvedic perspective.
